Bartlett Resources was started by Tony Trahar in July 2007 after his retirement as Chief Executive of Anglo American plc, one of the world’s largest global mining companies, listed on the London and Johannesburg Stock Exchanges.
Before his appointment as CEO at Anglo American, Tony Trahar was Chief Executive and then Chairman of Mondi plc, an international paper and packaging group listed on the London Stock Exchange. Tony Trahar’s previous positions included CFO and then deputy Chairman of Anglo American Industrial Corporation, a listed subsidiary of Anglo American, with a wide range of interests covering the construction, chemical, iron and steel, engineering, automotive, electronic and electrical engineering sectors in South Africa.
